sarges46 Posted July 19, 2008 #1 Posted July 19, 2008 While sitting around shooting the breeze in Kitchener...the topic of good glues came up. Someone mentioned a really great glue that was better than crazy glue, invisible and they used it to glue some..."angel wings" back on a ornament. Anyone remember this conversation? What was the stuff and how does one get some? Thanks
Yammer Dan Posted July 19, 2008 #3 Posted July 19, 2008 Don't know....Would like to, Wasn't Gorilla Glue was it??
friesman Posted July 19, 2008 #4 Posted July 19, 2008 I just bought a tube of Automotive goop to attach the chrome ornament to my front fender, its worked for me before on other similar stuff. (at least nothing has fallen off yet...heheh) Brian:cool10:

Yammer Dan Posted July 20, 2008 #7 Posted July 20, 2008 Shows How Much I Wanted To Be There!! Hey Rick, I have a Correctional Officer Son down in Folkston Georgia. Called his mom the other day and said "Convict gave me some scratches down the side of my neck" "But its OK he got 15 stiches!!"
Marcarl Posted July 20, 2008 #8 Posted July 20, 2008 Might have been Freebird that you were talking to, and he's a lover of Goop products.
Freebird Posted July 20, 2008 #9 Posted July 20, 2008 Nope, wasn't me and I am NOT a lover of Goop products. I mean...love...it's such a STRONG word. Actually, I don't know that I have ever used Goop but it may be great. I have used Gorilla glue and it seems OK.
a1bummer Posted July 20, 2008 #10 Posted July 20, 2008 CA Glue. Much better than crazy glues or gorilla glue. Comes in several different thicknesses. Buy it at hobby stores or online at http://www.towerhobbies.com, etc.
bongobobny Posted July 20, 2008 #11 Posted July 20, 2008 Uhhhh, perhaps the correct word is you are "attached" to adhesives...
