I just received a phone call from my son, he works for a company that does turn-arounds in refinerys all over the country. He was at the refinery in Pasadena, Tx today when one of the worlds largest cranes collasped killing 4 workers and injuring 7, he was about 100 yards away and saw the whole thing, he was very shaken up when I talked to him, he was to be working in that area where the crane was once they got it set up. I have and will always worry about the work he does in such dangerous places.............I think he will think more about what dangers are around him now............Our prayers go out for the families of those killed and injured.

Bad for the families...I feel for them. I am also glad your son was not injured, but, he will need some time to recover from witnessing that tragedy.

Lewis,

Glad to hear your Son was not hurt!! Prayers go out to those who were hurt, and to the ones who didn't make it! Tell your son to keep his eyes open, and be on guard at all times! We will pray that he don't have anything happen in the future!

those are life changing experiences.....I've seen some horrific things on my job and it always makes me appreciate everything that I have. Give your son an extra hug and an ear to unload..I know he'll need it:bighug:
