Guest Brad25ca Posted July 17, 2008 #1 Posted July 17, 2008 Stupid question, but I can't find the handlebar diameter of my '86 Royale to order new grips, and my bike is at home, I'm at work...you get the picture. Anyone know the handlebar diameter off hand?
PBJ Posted July 17, 2008 #2 Posted July 17, 2008 I don't know the exact diameter but I do know they are the same as a Gold Wing. I discoverd this by accident when I bought leather grips for my Sabre last year at Americade and they didn't fit (too big). But after bringing home my 85 with these worn out foam grips I thought i'd try the leather ones I bought and they fit. Hope that helps.
