Daughter and I are riding from Bremen to Chatanooga Sat. Gonna hit Ruby Falls and maybe stay downtown near the river. I've heard a bout a boat cruise at night? Anyone familiar? :cool10:

Yep,

went there last year for Star Days, We had 33 members of Our Star Chapter Go.

Ruby Falls I remember best, as we did it on my birthday, July 25th

a shot or two, in the attachment.

and yes, a Big Black & White, Dinner boat, I think it was a paddle wheel

We stayed at the Chattanooga Choo Choo

The boat cruise is either on the paddle boat (night trip with band and dancing) or day trip on new boat to view tn. river gourge area. Downtown is nice now, lots of things to do or see, within walking distance. Are you riding or car? Friday night is called nightfall downtown. Three blocks are closed off for motorcycles only, with bands and beverages sold from vendors on the street.(couple of hundred bikes usually). We will be in town as far as i know, if you want to hit some short scenic rides..

Are you coming up 27 all the way? If so when you get to Summerville, turn left just after you cross the RR tracks as you are going into a sharp right hand curve. This road will take you out to Menlo Ga. Just past Menlo you will go up the Mt. and can turn right on 157 "Lookout Mountain Parkway". You can then follow the parkway all the way to Lookout Mt. and Ruby Falls. While you are up there besure to check out the Park just up the road from Ruby Falls. It is a beautiful view and has some great historic stuff also.

Downtown the aquarium is great as well as the Imax-the riverwalk, and the Choo Choo. If I was able to get away I'd come meet you and ride a ways or at least have a cup of java-but my wife has had her other eye surgery last week and I'm haveing to stay with her for a cuppla more weeks, till she is able to get around by herself.

Good luck and have fun,

Craig:)

No problem. I saw your other post about the brake problem and I agree it sounds like you need new fluid. I work retail so mostofmy riding is on Sundays but if you want to get together some day. I could show you around the N.Jawga mts. some. We(mama and me) usually ride with one or two other couples on a regular basis. Have you ever been to Fibbers Restruant in Cedar Bluff Al? It is great ! We could possibly meet around Rome or Cave Springs some time and ride if you want to. Let me know if intrested.

Didn't see this thread till this morning. There are about a bazillion things to do around Chatt. Next time your up - Check out Cloudland canyon - (Taking the LONG way) - Pass Menlo on 48 - go up the mountain to Mentone and hit 117(AL), follow it around to Flatrock and back down to Trenton then up 136 to the top of lookout Mtn. You will hit Cloudland Canyon park before long.

Along with Nightfall, there is also a ride in every other saturday night in Eton, GA. and Thunder Creek Harley has Sundown one Friday night a month (Check their website).

Great riding all over the place around here.
