SaltyDawg Posted July 16, 2008 #1 Posted July 16, 2008 Here is a slide show of our trip to Myrtle Beach during Bike Week 2008. I know it's late, but for some reason I procrastinate. There are two Ventures in here, one with a different back rest, passenger seat, and passenger arm rests. If anybody has any info it would be cool to find out where they came from. It was great seeing SleeperHawk and Mechanic there. We had a great day together. You have got to see the....... I'm not sure how to describe it, well you will know when you see it. http://s227.photobucket.com/albums/dd227/SaltyDawg83/Myrtle%20Beach%202008/?albumview=slideshow

SaltyDawg Posted July 16, 2008 Author #5 Posted July 16, 2008 Where do you get them arm rest for the venture cool looking i want a set. Joe That is the main reason I put them in the series, I was hoping someone would have info on them and the passenger seat.
FreezyRider Posted July 16, 2008 #6 Posted July 16, 2008 Where do you get them arm rest for the venture cool looking i want a set. Joe I believe that those are Kuryakyn arm rests. They make them for Harleys and GL1800 Goldwings. Look identical, but I think this guy must have had the mounting brackets custom made. They do look sharp! This is what they look like on an 1800: http://www.easycart.net/GenesGAllery/images/8991_lg.jpg I'm not sure of about the seat....might be custom made. The backrest looks like it is a Utopia pad with custom made (and chromed) mounting brackets. Whoever owns that puppy ought to share his secrets!!

I just checked everything out and they are the Kuryakyn armrest for the 1800 Goldwing and he just added 2 extra screws to the bracket. If you look close you can see where he added them along with the regular mounting procedure, and also added a rubber peice behind it to take up space and tighten it up. That looks great and is what I plan on this winter for a project. Joe
