Motorcycle jack

Anyone have an idea on what type jack can be used on 2005 RSV. I have one that was used on 1300 vtx and c90T but will not work on this one because it is not flat from one side of frame to the other. Any help will be apprecisted, thanks

I had to use wood blocks to jack mine up. I think I'll get one of Carbon One's adapters. Makes the whole procedure much easier I think.

A sears MC lift will work. You need blocks like Mariner Fan said or you could purchase a lift frame adapter from carbon_one they work great. Check the classified ads under 2nd Gen parts and accessories.

Ease, purchase one of Carbon One's RSV / RSTD Lift Frame Adapters. Most of all M/C jacks will with with it.

+1 on CarbonOne lift adapter. You may find it best to get the one with the legs. It is VERY stable on the legs. Best accessory I have for my bike.

I went with a Sears M/C jack and hockey pucks as adapters. Was quick and easy.

Bought Sears M/C jack on sale last year for $70. Then got Carbon ones lift adapter with legs... best thing I ever purchased for my bike!! Happy I spent my money on this!

 

I run the bike up on a couple pieces of 2x6 and the jack fits under with no problem at all. Then you can properly clean and service your bike.

I've both the Sears and a Pitbull jacks, but it is SO MUCH EASIER with the lift adaptor fropm Carbon One, now I wish I would have bought the legs.................................
