Well, I finally broke down and tore the back of my 89 royale apart to see what all the talk about the dryer was . well, my dssecant beads were as pretty pink as the walls in my daughters room. So I put it in the microwave and it came out nice and blue. A lot of work for I dont know what benefits.

YamaMama says to replace that canister every 2 years......I "cooked" mine at 21 years and I'm not sure if it made a difference either! I'm telling myself that it did, anyway. At least it looks prettier!

You'll never know the difference until you have problems keeping air in the Class system. Then, when you take things apart to see what's happened and you notice corrosion all over the place from water getting into places where it shouldn't be, then you'll say AH HA,, now I see.

So keep it blue,,, every two years give it a cooking and your Class will perform much better for a lot longer.
