FROG MAN Posted July 14, 2008 #1 Posted July 14, 2008 MamaMo is tearing her scooter a part in the middle of the dining room floor. My stuff has to stay in the shed. This is so unfair.
mini-muffin Posted July 14, 2008 #2 Posted July 14, 2008 Looks like she's doing a good job there Gerald. She got all the right tools I guess. I just hope she gets it done and put back together for Asheville. Margaret
MamaMo Posted July 14, 2008 #3 Posted July 14, 2008 Yes I have been at it again. Now the 99 trunk is offically in pieces. Yes I got dirty and did it on my new floor and NO Froggy can not bring his in the house. Now to teardown the rest of the bike Yes I hope to get it done for Ashville.
mini-muffin Posted July 14, 2008 #4 Posted July 14, 2008 Great job Ramona. Won't be long now. Hope it goes back together easy. Margaret
cecdoo Posted July 14, 2008 #5 Posted July 14, 2008 Nice job on the floor install, Froggy, think you need to buy her a drop cloth:smile5: Craig
MamaMo Posted July 14, 2008 #6 Posted July 14, 2008 Just one thing Cecdoo. Other than the cuts at the ends I installed the laminate flooring. :nanner:He put the subfloor down.
cecdoo Posted July 14, 2008 #7 Posted July 14, 2008 Just one thing Cecdoo. Other than the cuts at the ends I installed the laminate flooring. :nanner:He put the subfloor down. Ya know Ramona, I new that even as I was typing it, I thought I bet she installed the floor:think: Nice Job!! Craig
Redneck Posted July 14, 2008 #8 Posted July 14, 2008 Rank has its privileges. Besides if she let you bring in those first gens in they would rub off on the new floor and cause it to break uncontrollably. Then not only would you have broken antiques you would also have splinters in your feet.
FROG MAN Posted July 14, 2008 Author #9 Posted July 14, 2008 She didn't tell you I was allergic to the dust created from cutting the laminate. I would cut a piece then had to walk away for a while. My eyes swelled up for two days. Marrying a farmers daughter with tools has it's benefits.
Pilot Posted July 14, 2008 #10 Posted July 14, 2008 She had her own tools????? Man where are these women....Her own tools.... All my wife needs it a screw driver with a big handle that can double as a hammer when needed.
MamaMo Posted July 14, 2008 #11 Posted July 14, 2008 I keep my own private stash of tools in my truck. That way I know where they are. Went to start teardown on the trunk and had to go and get MY socket set that has standard and metric. Then He asks where I got those. :stickpoke:I say, I bought them. For some reason everytime I let someone borrow my tools they end up missing. Have Froggy, Father-in-law, brother-in-law and future son-in law and they all borrow if they know I have them. It ends up costing me.
mini-muffin Posted July 14, 2008 #12 Posted July 14, 2008 Got some of my own tools too. I keep em hidden so I know where they are. This way I don't have to ask to borrow any from Jeff. Of course he does have lots that I don't have. Margaret
Yama Mama Posted July 14, 2008 #13 Posted July 14, 2008 Ladies I totally agree with you that a woman needs her own tools. I have had my own little set of screwdrivers and sockets and I always hesitate to lend them to Ron, because chances are I will not get it back. In this world today every woman needs to know the basics of simple repairs on the car and the house. Nice job Ramona, you go GIRLFRIEND! Mama:clap2:
