What's that saying Ronald Regan was famous for saying?...

Oh yeah :

"Trust but verify..."

I have a morgan carbtune and tested each tube/slide to a single vacuum source. It's wise to do this before each carb sync.

Actually, It's wise to do this regardless of what your using to measure with, especially if it has moving parts... calipers, mics etc... Test it regularly on a Known entity/measurement. Ever a $500 micrometer can be off and need adjustment.

I'm not going to argue what is best, but only say if you take the time to verify something, you can be reasonably assured that it will be very close, if not spot on...

Oh, that's probably called first Hand Expirience.... :255:

Like it or not, sing your praise as you wish, but i had a different "Pleasure" and i tend to believe it's in all our Members best Interest to hear both sides of a Story. Both, old and fairly fresh Members.

I had my Share four Years ago and Goose came in shortly after i shared my Story with exactly the same Adventure.

I can't understand why you're doubting our Stories and why in the World you're calling Goose and myself out ? Just because you can't believe what we're saying ? Well, just believe it or at least think about it being a Possibility.

Using precision Dial Type Gauges is discrediting me ??

Wow, really, that's all i gotta say ...

You all can please yourselves.

But if you prefer the dial type, you lose a lot of credibility.

Sorry, that's just how it is.

It never ceases to amaze me how a few folk on a single website can spoil the reputation of a perfectly decent tool, while pretty much everyone else sings it's praises.

Been researching electric versions of carb synchronizers.

Here's a couple --- http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TMT-TS-71 &

http://www.summitracing.com/parts/TMT-TS-111 The bottom one would require two units for our bikes or you would need to switch lines to the different carbs as needed. Not that pratical & time consuming as well.

The major drawback is costs of these units. pricey to say the least.

Found some others on the net but they cost even more than these two.
