Trunk Lid Closing???

Lately I've had a little trouble closing the lid on my trunk on my 07 Venture. This morning it was really difficult. Doesn't seem to want to latch. It was dark when I rode to work so I couldn't tell what was going on. I know nothing was between the hook and the latch. I'd appriciate any suggestions.

You probably only need to lube up the latches. There's an article on that very same issue here in the forum, tech area I believe.. have a look, you should be able to find it..

Make sure the little locking arm on the left side is still in place, the screws on mine came loose and fell out, would not stay up and once did not want to open.
