1 - UP Posted July 5, 2008 #1 Posted July 5, 2008 My '04 is now triked. I got it back on the 3rd and it has been raining ever since. Today will be the first day that I'll have it on the road. As soon as I get some pictures of it I'll post them. The "Venture" continues now on three wheels. Ken:banana:

Thom Thom, I'm still in Indiana. I'll be coming home next week end. Randy I don't know if I'll make it or not. This has been a 2 month vacation and I want to spend some time at home. It's called "Homesick". Squidley I had a Hannigan installed and I rode it today and it was nice. Takes a little getting use to, not being able to "lean" when turning, but I think things will be OK. DragonRider Posted July 5, 2008 #6 Posted July 5, 2008 You dont have any excuses for no pics of the New Venture Trike, I happen to know, just by chance, that where you are, Jerry has a very large garage, a barn and plenty of space to take some indoor pics.......you just want to keep us all guessing about what it looks like..............Like to have seen a comparsion pic of yours next to Jerry's.......I think it would be no contest as to who has the prettier trike.................Even a 2nd gen trike looks better that a GW.............:stirthepot: Have fun with the new ride........cant wait to see the pics........:whistling: My '04 is now triked. Carbon_One Posted July 7, 2008 #7 Posted July 7, 2008 Congrads on your new ride Ken. Welcome to the 3rd wheel world from one brother to another. Yes it'll feel different front two wheels for a while but it also won't take long to become aquainted with the handling either. As with any bike there will be pros & cons. From a safety point of view you will have more pros than cons now. Hope to meet you someday as well. Larry

I checked the gas milege and I was getting 38+ which I thought was pretty good. I was getting 45 to 48 on two wheels. I would like to know what others are getting on "three" wheels. I was running at highway speeds some of the time 65 - 75, but most of the time I was around 50 - 60 on two lanes. I have the "running boards" so I don't have to worry about putting my feet down. They are weight bearing boards so I can stand on them. I weigh around 265. Ken
