Our route to the International Rally

My son and I will be leaving Tuesday morning and taking 90 out of the Cleveland area. We plan to cross over into Canada via the Peace Bridge in Buffalo. This is not a very long ride for us, only about 6 hours maybe. If anybody else is going that way on the same day though, you are welcome to join us.

Remember to get off Interstate 90 at the Irving NY exit for cheap gas and smokes at the Indian reservation. Just travel north on 5 for about a block and you will find the place on the right at the corner where 5 and 20 splits and rt 438 comes in...

HEY, WILD IDEA HERE...WE WILL BE ON THE NIAGARA FALLS RIDE THEN...YOU COULD JOIN US. We went on the ride to time it all out LAST Tuesday. If we keep to the schedule we should be going UNDER the Peace Bridge sometime around late morning...it'd be GREAT if you could join us then. From the bridge in Fort Erie we'll be heading down the Niagara Pkwy to the Falls for lunch and an afternoon loop out to the mouth of the river at Lake Ontario. Lets talk if this is your idea of fun. It might be a long day for you...but heck, your on a lazy man's, comfortable riding motorcycle, right?

If we leave on time our stay in Fort Erie will be around 11 to 11:30. probably won't be any earlier than that. Let us know and we'll meet up.

We anticipate a short fuel stop, P-break on Garrison Road. Perhaps a good place for all to assemble before we head down the Parkway would be Mather Circle which is the loop and parking area just south of the Peace Bridge in Lakeshore Road Park...as shown on the map in this link.

If plans go well , BEER24/7 and I will be leaving here on Sunday . Taking approx 2 short days to get to Niagara Falls . We are not making definite plans , just flowing with the wind . We do plan on seeing some of the local POI's and perhaps we can get together as well . Depending on the time , we plan on a day trip to the rally . We have a lot of miles ahead of us , as we have other destinations to go to while on our vacation . My cell is listed in my profile and I have Don's # in my cell directory already .

Depending on what way you come up thru NY on your way to the falls, you may come real close to our place, Beer. Feel free to stop on in if you are near rt 16 and 39. We are one short mile from the corner...

That sounds good except that is really no reason for me to go through customs only to turn right around and come through customs again. Does anybody know of a spot where we can wait for you on the USA side? Or...are you not crossing over to the USA side? If not, I'll just come on through and meet you there. Just give me a time and a place. We'll plan to be there. If something happens and we aren't there and waiting, you can go on without us and we'll see you somewhere later in the day.

OK....looks like I can answer my own question. It looks like you are NOT crossing over so that will be good. I will just come on over and meet up with you at the parking area on Mather Circle. I'll plan to be there no later than 11:00 a.m. I will have my cell phone with me, 440-225-0004.
