Brian D. Posted July 3, 2008 #1 Posted July 3, 2008 hi all will 07 harley road king exhaust fit 07 RSV, was wondering since i thought the roadking was fuel injected but then again maybe it doesn't matter, anyway anyone using these on RSV thanks Brian D.
boominup Posted July 3, 2008 #2 Posted July 3, 2008 They most certainly will fit with the right brackets and clamps. I am using the same ones but off an 04 RK. I've drilled out the baffle ends and I really love the sound. They are actually enjoyable on the long haul. Not too loud but a deep mellow sound. Brian
waterbug Posted July 3, 2008 #3 Posted July 3, 2008 I have a 08 venture and want to change the pipes on it but dont want something that will become annoying on a long ride, are the road king pipes factory pipes or are they aftermarket ones for them?
vipermax07 Posted July 3, 2008 #4 Posted July 3, 2008 i have stock road king mufflers on my 08. you can just hear them on the road. no jetting or anything. check your local harley shop, they might some laying around for little money.
Trainwreck68 Posted July 4, 2008 #5 Posted July 4, 2008 You can find them on ebay for less than $100 usually. The guy that sells the bracket and clamps, on ebay, will also sell you Harley mufflers. The whole set up is around $200 I believe. I tried my LOCO! Harley dealer and as I expected, because I asked for them he wanted $250 for used mufflers.

I asked about "take-offs" at one of our Harley dealers... they told me they keep them and sell them as if they were new whenever a bike is in an accident and is being repaired. Definately they wouldn't sell them cheap.
Little Bob Posted July 4, 2008 #7 Posted July 4, 2008 I have a 07 midnight and have changed the exhaust to the road king mufflers. Punched out the two ends and the sounds is great. Only really hear them when I get on them. Good luck on whatever you decide.:080402gudl_prv:
