This little piggy

:scared:On June 22nd 10:15pm on the way home after 300 mile ride to see our BACA kids.I was reflecting on the events of the day.When all at once a little piggy (200lbs)jumped out of ditch at about ten feet had just enough time to oh! impact dead center 60mph.Woke up sliding on my back ,bike fling over and landing in front of me.I watched it slide into ditch about 30ft.ahead of my landing.At this point i could not that I am concious(no helmet)I usually wear one. When I stand up I realize right eye is swole shut,forehead bleeding,both arms

look like hamburger,left leg is killing me and I am in the middle of no where.

I here a car coming from the north, my luck it turns off a mile before me. I can still hear

hogs around and decide this is not a place to hang around,I see a light south of me and start toward it dragging my left leg and hoping they did not have dogs.Knocked on door and requested 911 waited on heli.Nothing broke just skined and bruised.

 

 

GLAD TO BE HERE!!

 

P.S. Son just told me it was 3/4 mile to that house.Also I was on the Roadstar,Venture was in the shop.

WOW...too many stories lately about deer and now we have to add pigs to our list. Glad you came out as well as you did. Those little 200 lb. piggies are pretty solid.

Man - you got to be kidding. A pig? Wild pigs or pigs from the local farm that ran away? So glad you are able to write about it.

Wild domestic pigs if you are traveling west central Texas be especialy careful after dark .They generally travel in bunches,in dry creek and stream crossings or into fresh

plowed feilds to root around.They will even eat there on or anything else that may be injured.

Man bikerwatt you got off lucky considering, I hope your healing okay. I live in dairy cow country and one night about 12:30 am only a 1/2 mile from home I came around the corner to find three cows standing in the road. Lucky the curve cut through the farmer yard of my neighbor with the house on one side and the barns on the other So i always had to slow down while going through there. Still I had to grab a hand full of brake pretty quick . Worse the cows spooked as i came around the corner and the farner and his sons had to chase them down, That poor farmer lost a lot of chickens to that road.

I know we requested help in locating a deal on a pig for the Pork in the Pines Rally, but you didn't have to go out and get one for us. Especially with your bike!!!

 

But hey, now that you got the pig, just ship it to Black Owl. Don't worry about cold packing it or rush shipping. I'm sure it'll be fine.
