Freebird Posted June 30, 2008 #2 Posted June 30, 2008 Is it the fast silver or the dark pink? Wonder if BradT will see this.
Yammer Dan Posted June 30, 2008 Author #3 Posted June 30, 2008 I'm colorblind but it sure is purty. That burgandy looks black to me with just a little red cast to it. Kind of a light silver.
FROG MAN Posted June 30, 2008 #4 Posted June 30, 2008 Dan if your talking about the only 99 selling on Ebay it has 67,000. Talk about a Harley Wanabe!
Yammer Dan Posted June 30, 2008 Author #5 Posted June 30, 2008 Nope, this one claims 6700 garge kept and loaded.
Yammer Dan Posted June 30, 2008 Author #6 Posted June 30, 2008 Different seat and a few things. I had to check.
Yammer Dan Posted June 30, 2008 Author #7 Posted June 30, 2008 Warden usually won't comment. But this time she said "I REALLY LIKE THAT ONE!!" She found the ad.
Redneck Posted June 30, 2008 #8 Posted June 30, 2008 Heck Dan just part out all those antiques and you could afford a couple of good scoots.
BradT Posted June 30, 2008 #9 Posted June 30, 2008 Is it the fast silver or the dark pink? Wonder if BradT will see this. Yup and it sounds like it is not Green. Dan go for, it I am sure you won't be dissatisfied. Brad
FROG MAN Posted June 30, 2008 #10 Posted June 30, 2008 Dan if that scoot is in as good a shape as you say go for it. I understand the warden wanting to slow you down a little. That second gen would be great for those long hauls. You have two great advantages a man don't get to often. 1. The Warden likes it 2. She is buying ( if she said go for it means the same thing) NADA low book is $5800 High book $7580 then consider the extras.
Guest Popeye Posted June 30, 2008 #11 Posted June 30, 2008 I looked for a 99 RSV all last Winter & couldn't find a decent one under $7500. So I ended up with a 97 1500SE Wing [sE = loaded] with 20k miles. Delivered in an ice storm. That was before scoots became Mega-popular & prior to $4. gas. Factor in Summer price & gas price & it has to be worth way more now, especially with low mileage. I learned a 'better deal' DOESN'T always come along.
