Snarley Bill Posted June 29, 2008 Share #1 Posted June 29, 2008 just got back from a 160 mile morning ride, and realized that the leg position is'nt as bad as i thought. my legs were in such bad shape i was getting to the point that i thought i was becoming cripple. then i realized i haven't really bent them much in the last couple of years and my knees were becoming very stiff. this wing has been the therapy i have been needing. i can actually get down on the floor and get up by myself and walk with no pain. this is great to not be in absolute pain 24 hours a day, and able to sleep with out tossing and rolling, and can get my feet up on the pegs on my zx14 without cringing from the pain. hallaluyah. Marcarl Posted June 29, 2008 Share #2 Posted June 29, 2008 Don't know the whole story here, but my daughter, Canadian born, Iowa Educated, teacher turned personal trainer, says: Dad if your knees are getting stiff, you're getting older and lazyier, so now you need to stretch them tendons more often, like maybe once a day. Maybe that will help you as well as it does for me.
PBJ Posted June 29, 2008 Share #3 Posted June 29, 2008 as A trainer and weight lifter myself i couldn't agree with your daughter more. Plus a little resistance training not only replaces muscle we may lose but helps to build and maintain bone density. For many of us as we get older thats a must! Remember what you don't use you lose!
