The 2008 Dixie Thunder Run is well under way down through Mississippi, and I am stuck home in Ky with the blues for missing it. the weather here is awful right now, My bike wants out of the garage, and here I type. If any of the other folks on here made the trip, please think of us less fortunate souls. We lost a member of our group that went last year, and in his honor the rest of us elected to stay home, since he couldn't go either. However next year will be a new story. We are going for sure, if they have it again.

Tommorow, the rest of us are going on a ride around central and western Ky, just to get out, about a 200 mile ride or so. It is hard losing a friend and riding a trip that you haven't made without him.
