Seaking Posted June 28, 2008 #1 Posted June 28, 2008 I tried dropping you a priv messge but kept getting this error message BB code size is not allowed. BB code font is not allowed Anyway, your friend said I should ask you about the ABS welding kit you guys recently used for repairs.. Cheers
Marcarl Posted June 28, 2008 #2 Posted June 28, 2008 Don't know anything about the BB codes,,,,,, if we don't like anything around here we use buckshot,,,,works better, faster, and costs less. About the plastic \ ABS repair,, it's called Plastex and they will put on a demo at the International Rally in 2 weeks, in Kitchener. A little tricky to work with until you get used to it, but does an awesome job. http://www.plastex.ca/ You can also use a combo of powdered ABS and acetone. I use a piece of ABS drain pipe, and file off what I might need, mix it with acetone and paste things together. Works good as well, but doesn't like to be too thick. Carl
