PEIslander Posted April 1, 2007 #1 Posted April 1, 2007 This should be posted under Most Embarassing Moments. Anyone have a valve cover they can sell me and ship to Prince Edward Island Canada asap. I was installing the engine on my 84 after doing the 2nd gear repair and it rolled off my jack and cracked the front valve cover. I got the engine in OK after that noticed the crack when I started bolting the side rail on. I want to put the rest of the bike together next weekend and so I'm looking for help. There are some on ebay so I can try that if no one here has one. Thanks Ventureriders.
Marcarl Posted April 1, 2007 #2 Posted April 1, 2007 In the mean time get some Seal All, clean it up well, put Seal All on it and you're away to the races until a new cover makes an appearing.
Toolman Posted April 1, 2007 #3 Posted April 1, 2007 I live in NS and have a used one for $15.00 CDN OR if you intrested a polished pair for $100.00 CDN email me at vmax@eastlink.ca if you still need help.

PEIslander Posted April 4, 2007 Author #5 Posted April 4, 2007 Toolman came through with a valve cover. :cool10: He shipped it Monday and I just got it. Its perfect other than yellow clear coat and this means I can get the 84 together this weekend. I'm anxious to try out my Randya type 2nd gear repair and the new progressives up front. Thanks again Toolman. and Thanks to WilCruise for the offer. Ventureriders helping Ventureriders!
