PBJ Posted June 24, 2008 #2 Posted June 24, 2008 hey Wildhair , just remember that every sale of an old friend means another VR member into the fold. Like me! I just bought my 85 VR from a couple in Michigan. They really wanted a Wing and found one so sold my little beauty before they even realize what they had on their hands. On top of that they sold it to me for only $1800.00. What A Deal! A little cleaning a set of fork seals and a replaced fairing vent and she looks almost brand new. Only 35K on the clock and she's got years of riding ahead of her and us. So thanks to previous owners like you for letting go of your old friend so others like us can enjoy a wonderful bike! Ride safe all!
Sweetnothing Posted June 24, 2008 #3 Posted June 24, 2008 Did you have to tell us that!!!????:crying: Maybe she will turn out to like the new guy even better, after while:rotf: Congrats on selling her! Now get that bike done, and the lawn mowed!! OH here:bighug:I'm sorry!!
Eck Posted June 24, 2008 #4 Posted June 24, 2008 Thats why they call them memories... Hey, You can always look at it again in the VR photo album........ In fact, Im sure I have a few photos of it sitting in my garage if you ever want to see it again.

Redneck Posted June 24, 2008 #6 Posted June 24, 2008 Oh hell its just a first gen you should have a big smile on your face and a guilty feeling for sticking it to a poor unsuspecting buyer.:rotf:
GigaWhiskey Posted June 24, 2008 #7 Posted June 24, 2008 Guess I might not be seeing that bike again. Glad i at least saw it once.
PBJ Posted June 24, 2008 #8 Posted June 24, 2008 Check you ven number and hope it is above 1413. RandyA Alrady did and its not its 110 . But so far the second gear feels strong and holding good. But i'll be keeping an eye on it if neccesary. I'm not usually a gear slammer so I'm hoping that ai'll get plenty of miles out of it yet.
