bongobobny Posted June 24, 2008 #2 Posted June 24, 2008 So you're selling the Venture and keeping the Wing, eh James??
Yammer Dan Posted June 24, 2008 #3 Posted June 24, 2008 More that I got. And Redneck would NEVER shut up!
Redneck Posted June 24, 2008 #4 Posted June 24, 2008 Dan will trade you 3 antique yard ornaments.:rotf:
GlennTuc Posted June 24, 2008 #5 Posted June 24, 2008 I wouldn't have any idea what its worth, but jeeze, whats a wing got that Venture don't have?
BradT Posted June 24, 2008 #7 Posted June 24, 2008 Dumb idea if your trying to get top dollar is too pull some of the expensive options and resell them. Doubt most of the options will increase it that much over the others that are out there for sale. Seems if you have a lot of options it helps to sell the bike but hard to get your money back out of them when selling on the bike. Best of luck selling it and with the wing. BRad
Condor Posted June 24, 2008 #8 Posted June 24, 2008 As a rule you're never going to get a lot for the options, but I'll take a stab and say 11K to 12.5K.
gibvel Posted June 24, 2008 #10 Posted June 24, 2008 You should know better than to ask a question like that around all these smart alecs!!

You own them both, don't you? RR
rek58 Posted June 24, 2008 #17 Posted June 24, 2008 You could use NADA or Kelly Blue Book to get an idea as to what the average selling price might be and then add some money for the options. I would think that might give you an idea as to where you should be money wise.
KiteSquid Posted June 24, 2008 #18 Posted June 24, 2008 I would say somewhere between $8,060 and $10,605. http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-23-38-5697-0-0-0&l=1&w=23&p=38&f=5698&m=0310&d=1200016621&y=2004&ml=Y&gc=MC>c=MC or click HERE

Guest JGorom Posted June 25, 2008 #23 Posted June 25, 2008 Well...this has been a real tough decision...but I have posted my bike for sale in the classifieds. Hope someone close by wants to buy...they can come and kick the tires so to speak.
Keech Posted June 25, 2008 #24 Posted June 25, 2008 On a trade a shop will offer about $10,000-10,500. About six months ago I was looking and went to four different stealers and that what they all offered on my 04 Midnight Venture with 29,000 miles. They didn't seem to care about what extras were on it. Good luck on the $11,000. In the end, after looking at what other bikes were out there, I decided to keep the Venture. I'm 6'6" and 285 lbs and it just fits me better. (and it's paid for) Keech:usa:

(and it's paid for) Keech:usa: Your right...and I started with a stripped price of $10,000...added up all the accessories...more than cut them in half as I've stated in my classified ad. I've been unemployed for almost a year...currently working part time...two bikes right now do not make a lot of sense for a number of reasons but basically I can only ride one at a time...and the wife prefers the Goldwing over the Venture. Absolutely nothing wrong with the bike...the performace and other mods made to it put it above and beyond stock bikes. Price is posted ($12,000...not $11,000 as you stated) along with how I determined the price. Later...
