Got up fairly early this morning. A member from Norwalk, OH had called yesterday asking if I could help him sync his carbs and I said sure, come on by. So he was here about 10:00 this morning and we got the carbs synced. Then of course the yard needed mowing so I spent about 4 or 5 hours doing that. Absolutely beautiful day. So I finished the yard and came in the house to change clothes and take a little ride and no sooner had I gotten ready than one HECK of a thunderstorm rolled in. Checked the weather and they were warning of hail and winds up to 60 MPH. So much for riding. Most of it has blown through now but it's still raining. Small tree limbs all over the place but nothing major.

Oh well....maybe tomorrow.

Now thats my kind of luck...they said it was supposed to rain here most of the day, and I have yet to see a drop...but I spent about 7 hours cleaning and waxing my bike so it WILL rain here soon...

as soon as I pull it out of the garage..

Didn't anyone tell you....you're suppose to ride for 4-5 hours and then get rained out on mowing the lawn? :rotf::rotf:

That's exactly what I figured...I KNEW that Eileen was explaining it wrong. :starz:

hmmmm.....I don't know if I was just complimented or insulted....or if Eileen was complimented or insulted. Now if I were complimented, then she must have been insulted unless I truly am a great guy in which case that would mean that we were both complimented unless there was sarcasm intended in which case I am a terrible guy and she was insulted for marrying me unless she married me out of pity in which case that makes her a pretty special person and she was truly complimented unless I am terrible and she is stupid to have married me in which case it was really an insult to both of us unless ......

WOW...you SEE....I can think just like you WIMMINS do. :cool10:

That front is headed my way. The creek just recently dropped to a safe crossing level with the scoots. I got to get the 89 and 84 out of here by Wednesday evening. Were camping at the camp for the Skid Inn weekend. I just got the yard cleaned up and that fence repair done. I made fire wood out of that locust. Now where is the hot dogs?

I'm only 45 minutes east of you, and when it hit here the winds were mighty strong and it dropped hail for about 5 minutes. Nothing too big, but I haven't checked the car windshields yet (hehe, the bikes get the garage, of course!) Lots of rain, and then it passed, now just grey and ugly. Glad I got my riding in early today.

Same Think Here. Just to get for ride, 400 mils round trip with my neighbors , black clouds rolled in to this morning trough Chicago. Rained hard but no hail or stuff. We should go to Indiana Dunes to visit our other neighbors who have cabin there. and after few hours we decide to cancel trip and stay home. Start doing work round a house , and manage to cut one big branch of my backyard tree. That branch is getting to close to power lines, and it was just right time to do that. Than helps my neighbors with their yard work, and have few to many Heinys to go riding. Well,at last i have polish my Stratoliner, and have ready for ride tomorrow.

No Ride here today too.

Tomorrow never die.

At least you got your lawn cut. Now mine is long and wet. No bike ride either. But I had a good one yesterday. 200 miles to lunch and back.

That storm front rolled through my area about 8:00. I was at a graduation party (on my bike of course). and it just stopped raining about 45 minutes ago. Still not raining now, so LET's RIDE...

Don,

i just started thinking about how much Safety Chrome might be available for your Lawn Mower ??

With your Preliminaries, you'd better start the Chroming there.

He could add on, chromed flotation tanks, so it won't sink into the depths of the pond..........
