Looking for brighter running lights

Does anyone know if the factory running lights on the venture (sealed beam) can be updated to a brighter light? I know the halogen can, but the sealed beams are 25 W and i would like to have something brighter...

Yes you can upgrade to a 35w sealed beam. I have the part # somewhere. I will locate it and post it later today.

You're referring to the passing lamps? There is a H7616 sold by NAPA that puts out a lot more light.

I changed out the entire housings and bought the Roadstar Tribar driving lights and have now put H1 55 watt silverstar bulbs in them

You don't have to buy the whole light... you already have the Chrome buckets.. You can just buy any H3 type bulbs... I bout tri-bars on ebay for like $50 .. The're a big upgrade over sealed beams..

I just got this info from NAPA on the H7616 sealed beam....around $20 ea I was told

Keith you need to re-read Highway's post... he's looking for an UPGRADE... Not a replacement .. Those sealed beams are about as useful as duct taping two flashlights to your front forks.
