I suspect about any motorcycle shop would have some in stock. You just need the diameter. Do you mean to keep refering to an 82 model, because 83 is the first year?

You know I thought so but the owner of the bike keeps correcting me telling me it was an 82. I figured he had the title and registration for it so I didn't argue the point.

Nope, not me this time. The anti dive valve came to in pieces with the rest of the bike. The previous mechanic that screwed it up lost the bolt. Unfortunately, I can't put it back together without it.

And alias, I'm afraid that the sun room is now hopelessly committed to the renovation of Venture Royales, Mine, Matt's (User ID Mattcharva) and now a third one I bought off e-bay the other night I plan on redoing for my son. I have now erected an annex to the sunroom where the mechanical work happens.

Last time I checked you can still buy the washers from Yamaha. They're not cheap... 'bout $3.50, but they usually have them in stock...

The bolt comes with 2 washers, that way it's clean when it arrives.
