Yama Mama Posted June 12, 2008 #1 Posted June 12, 2008 Today our son, Mark's car broke down. Pulley assembly busted, broken belt and all. He works about 45 minutes away, so Ron took him on our bike. Mark is 6'4", this is how it looked. I think similar to carrying a tall pine on the back of the bike. Mama
mini-muffin Posted June 12, 2008 #2 Posted June 12, 2008 Thanks for the pics Peggy. Yep about as funny as I thought. Margaret
hipshot Posted June 12, 2008 #3 Posted June 12, 2008 the windshield, didn't offer much in the way of "protection" , for Mark. did it? just jt

hipshot Posted June 13, 2008 #10 Posted June 13, 2008 He now has more saddle time then you do this year!!! anyone who has swung a leg over a scoot, has more time than me , this year! don't look like it's gonna improve much either. too much on my plate. in fact, i wouldn't even swear that my bike is still out in the shed. haven't thought about it in the past couple of months. NEXT YEAR'S just 7 months away! then "watch out". lol just jt
mraf Posted June 13, 2008 #11 Posted June 13, 2008 How come your kids are taller than you are? Theres got to be some kind of physiological answer! Better water? Food too far away? Air cleaner higher up? BHT? Whatever it is it's working! You have him ordering his own scoot yet since now he has gotten a taste of bike riding?
Yama Mama Posted June 13, 2008 Author #12 Posted June 13, 2008 You know I do not know the answer to that question. Ron is 6'2", and I am 5'9". Maybe I should have cut back on those One A Days. But you know, Mark can tell us the weather forecast better than the television forecasters. I guess he is closer to the cloud formations. Mama:hurts:
WilCruise Posted June 14, 2008 #13 Posted June 14, 2008 As long as it's not something like the milk man you're OK! You do have a bit of a rep with all that spanking, piercing and tattoo talk you know!
