tooldood Posted December 4 #1 Posted December 4 As a kid, I grew up on peanut butter and jelly sandwiches... and as an adult (some may argue that part) the good ol' PBJ is still my favorite sandwich. The basics are the same, but it's now on wheat bread with chunky peanut butter and grape jam (spreads better than jelly). Now - how about the rest of you? What is your go-to?? 1
AGrengs Posted December 4 #2 Posted December 4 Fried bologna (or fried spam) on seedy toasted bread with miracle whip and american cheese. 1
Freebird Posted December 4 #4 Posted December 4 My simple go to is plain white bread, bologna, cheese and a couple slices off fresh tomato. 1
OrlinEngh Posted December 4 #5 Posted December 4 Ham and sharp cheddar with a little mayo on wheat. 1
Marcarl Posted December 4 #6 Posted December 4 Best between the bed sheets, flat with the head out and the feet tucked in, covered with blankets and a pillow of soft flannel, not dressed much but just enough to be unidentified. Oh the bread?? don't eat much of that!
N3FOL Posted December 4 #7 Posted December 4 I have a couple: 1) PB&J and 2) Double Egg Sandwich with Canadian Bacon which will last me longer. I am already getting hungry.
ReinyRooster Posted December 4 #8 Posted December 4 PB & J or Ham and Havarti cheese on a soft bun. 1
bpate4home Posted December 4 #9 Posted December 4 BLT on Seeded Rye, lightly toasted with Mayo is a fallback favorite but I also enjoy bacon egg and cheese on a good biscuit. The egg needs to be over easy though. need that yolk soaking into the biscuit. If I don't have a meat at the house and need a quick sandwich I'll do Tomato, Lettuce and a slice of cheese on white with mayo. Father in law called it a sloppy slurpy lol. 1
N3FOL Posted December 5 #10 Posted December 5 I like all aforementioned sandwich. I am not hard to please. Yummy!

N3FOL Posted December 7 #18 Posted December 7 I am having an egg and ham sandwich tomorrow morning. No cheese, since we are out of cheese.

I've had a pretty large range too: Racoon, Groundhog, Gator, Squirrel, Snake even Ostrich once. We used to have place close to our house that sold "exotic" meats.
N3FOL Posted Thursday at 03:07 PM #23 Posted Thursday at 03:07 PM I've had Bison Burger, but not a sandwich. Tasty as well. 3
