Junior Posted November 19, 2024 #1 Posted November 19, 2024 Have a leak at the seal area on the shift shift. Anyone ever change this out
Marcarl Posted November 19, 2024 #2 Posted November 19, 2024 Year and model is helpful, and yes, they can be changed out. Takes a bit to get to it but does work.

Lets just say I am now looking for a speedi sleeve to fit the shaft. Edited November 20, 2024 by saddlebum
Junior Posted November 20, 2024 Author #4 Posted November 20, 2024 Thanks for the reply. I have a 2007 RSV that I just changed the slave cylinder and while I was doing that I noticed oil leaking from the shaft seal. I've read other people's comments about this job and they mentioned to check this out before closing cover up. Well I ordered a seal and I was hoping someone had replaced this easier than what the manual said. Thanks again for your comments.

saddlebum Posted November 21, 2024 #6 Posted November 21, 2024 Another solution is to park by the Harleys, then no one will notice. 2
