Precious Posted November 9 #1 Posted November 9 When replacing the huge, ugly air box on a 1998 RSTD, what is the mm of the carb? I measured and get 44 inside, 48 outside. I'm assuming they are measured from the outside so to accept the new pods. Anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance.
M61A1MECH Posted November 9 #2 Posted November 9 From DR Google I found this, How do I tell what size Mikuni carb I have? Measure the inside diameter of the carb on the engine side. Maybe this helps. Found this here on page 82, of the full manual, not the supplements. https://www.venturerider.org/manuals/1996-2001 Royal Star LIT-11616-VZ-01.pdf
Marcarl Posted November 10 #3 Posted November 10 If you are going to change the airbox, be ready to re-jet the carbs.
