I have not tired the newest models of Exedra tires, but any bike I've ridden with that line in the past has felt like it wanted to wander.  On the other hand, I've always liked the Battlax line on my performance based bikes for both muscle cruisers (RS Warrior) and Sport Tourers (Concours, FJR).

Before I traded in my ‘06 RSTD, I found them to be the best handling tires, with the stock size front, of any tire I ever ran. The mileage was dismal for me, only about 7,000 with the front wearing out before the rear. But I accepted the poor mileage for the superior handling.

If I am not mistaken, I went through one set of the Exedra then I switched to Shinko 777.  I did like the tires, but I was looking for the best deal and tire performance for my RSV.  I did like the tires and you should be happy with them too.

I'll 3rd the Shinkos as bang for the buck tires is your not a guy who rides massive miles every year.  I had a 230 Tourmaster on the rear of my venture and got 9-10k miles out of it and rode great.  Currently running 777 on my in-laws Stratoliner, Verge 16 on the RS Warrior and looking at the newer 999 for the next tire on the Venture.

I had them installed on my Honda Valkyrie Interstate this spring after having Dunlop D4's. Two trips to the US through the mountains and twisties of Virigina and West Virginia HWY 250 and 33 and a short drive through Skyline Drive and they worked well. 2nd trip to Vermont this time in some rain and they worked very well in all conditions. I would give them a thumbs up!
