etcswjoe Posted October 14 #1 Posted October 14 (edited) I was very bad and let my rear brake pads go almost to the metal; while I was cleaning the calipers up I noticed little loops of rubber sticking out. The calipers work fine; however, I think it might be in my best interest to rebuild them. What do y'all think? Edited October 14 by etcswjoe
Marcarl Posted October 14 #2 Posted October 14 Might not be a real bad idea, I mean you already have them out, so you might as well. YES!!!! 1

By the look of those rubbers I would say your caliper pistons have been sticking an over heating. When rebuilding avoid splitting the calipers in half. The seals that seal between the body halves are an odd size and difficult to find.
etcswjoe Posted October 16 Author #4 Posted October 16 Thanks for the advice, I was just about to split them
