GeorgeS Posted June 12, 2008 #1 Posted June 12, 2008 Just watching the mess in Iowa on TV. We Still have very cold air, over the NW states heading East over Idaho, Montanna and headed your way back east. Two more days of cold Air predicted out here, so stay on your toes for Tornado's back there for at least 3 more days. It ain't over yet !!
Eck Posted June 12, 2008 #2 Posted June 12, 2008 My heart goes out to all the people having the floods and tornados. I too saw it on TV and WOW....what a mess. To see your house fall down and float off down the river has got to be one sick feeling to experience.... I feel for those folks..and then to see the fires in Calif again...and folks with out insurance loosing everything they own..cars, home everything.. guess it was thier choice not to buy insurance..but dang.. what a loss..
Dano Posted June 12, 2008 #3 Posted June 12, 2008 Thankfully we sit on high ground here, but seeing some of the fields the other day when I went down to Franklin, In., if I was even close to a flood plain I would have bought it. We checked county records when we bought and we weren't even close to a 100 year flood. But I do carry earthquake ins.! Only 150 miles from "Earthquake Alley" down in SE Illinois.... already had 2 this year we could feel up here..... Hopefully this weather will settle down soon. Dan
GeorgeS Posted June 12, 2008 Author #4 Posted June 12, 2008 Still Heavy overcast over Wa. state, this morning, cold air, heading East.
Mariner Fan Posted June 12, 2008 #5 Posted June 12, 2008 We had some bad storms here in Alexandria but nothing like they got South of Indy. Yea, it's kinda weird seeing snow up on Snoqualmie pass. Hope things warm up for you West siders in Renton!
