1983 venture and here is my issue.

no spark left front plug. Other 3 plugs have spark.
I have a new plug wire on it, new plug and last week I switch the back plug wire and got spark , so I isolated it to the coil. Ordered a good coil and she fired up with spark. Went to start this morning and again , no spark on front left ( I’m assuming that’s #2).

please help,

thank you

Good, they only thing I was going to mention is the spark plug boot. They will break down over time as their is a 5k resistor in there. These are available from NGK and very easy to replace if needed.

Did I see you posting on one of the facebook groups about this? I'm glad you got it fixed. Depending on what you want to do with your bike (keep it and tour for a long time), there are companies that can replace the capacitors and diodes in our old TCI's. Alot of people run Ignitech units, but I've seen stories about them failing. Might as well keep running the old stuff thats been proven to work for 30 years!
