Red Locktight

I was tired of the wingnuts vibrating off that I was using to hold my seat in place on my 09 midnight venture.  So like a jackass I decided to put some lock tight on it.  Yes I used the red instead of the blue.  Now both wings have broken off and the head is stripping even with vice grips.  I know heat is supposed to loosen the red, but that is so tight there I am afraid I will burn my seat.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

Can you reach them with a Dremel?   Maybe cut a slot into the side?    I use plastic wing nuts - non metric.   The standard threads will give but bind enough as they turn onto the metric threads

Use a soldering iron to heat the nut.
