N3FOL Posted September 13 #1 Posted September 13 Good Evening to all Venture Riders and all motorcycle riders. Hope you are enjoying another beautiful night in your area. Have been riding to and from work for the last 2 weeks now and enjoying it immensely. Watching some Thursday night football tonight. 1
N3FOL Posted September 16 Author #2 Posted September 16 I started this thread hoping this will make members just posting something and keep some random conversations going. It has been very very quiet here, but I guess it is still worth it that I automatically renewed my subscription for another year. Hoping for a better outcome. Good Evening to all in Pa and surrounding areas!
PastorCurt Posted September 17 #3 Posted September 17 It is quiet on this site. I am promoting a CanAm for the wife. She is having a tougher time getting on the Venture these days and is thinking she would like riding her own. She had never ridden motorcycles in her life until I got the ‘09 Venture and she began riding with me in 2018. So at 70 years young she is starting a new adventure!
N3FOL Posted September 17 Author #4 Posted September 17 The CanAm is very nice and they do have several models for your wife to choose from. Test drive the CanAm and it will be difficult not to go home without. Perhaps I should say, happy shopping. 1
N3FOL Posted September 17 Author #5 Posted September 17 Good Evening Ventureriders and non venture riders. I was on a 15 day riding streak until tonight into tomorrow. Rain is coming our way over here in SE Pa.
N3FOL Posted September 18 Author #6 Posted September 18 No more rain, so back on riding again running errands plus to and from work. I am planning to modernize the front end of the RSV and would like to get rid of the passing lamps. Looking around for an aftermarket LED spotlight online.
RDawson Posted September 19 #7 Posted September 19 Got in 150 miles or so this morning with a local group. 1
etcswjoe Posted September 19 #8 Posted September 19 A friend I grew up with called me before Labor Day saying he wanted to meet up and ride, we meet up in central Ga and wound up riding to Apalachicola Florida to almost Clearwater then up to Valdosta Ga before splitting off and going our separate ways. Have not ridden that many miles in that short of a time in a long while. 2

It has been quite some time now since my last group. Definitely pre-Covid era. I've been getting emails from a dealership in Virginia and they do group rides announced a week or two in advance. Hoping to be involved with that type of group ride in the near future.
N3FOL Posted September 19 Author #11 Posted September 19 @etcswjoe Looks like you guys had great weather for the ride and a lot of fun. Thanks for sharing your pics.
N3FOL Posted September 19 Author #12 Posted September 19 Good evening to all. Thank goodness I didn't have to cut the grass yet. We haven't received a lot of rain for a number of days now. Rain deficit is increasing.

sleepy2 Posted September 22 #14 Posted September 22 Went for a couple 200klm rides recently! one was Friday the 13th that I took to Port Dover Ontario Canada which they estimated over 75,000 people and bikes!(not sure how many but it sure looked about right) The other was this past Friday that I went to a Motor cycle parts and accessory store then another bike recycle and finally Princes Auto where I spent around $150 on stuff I needed for the coming winter! 1
RDawson Posted September 23 #15 Posted September 23 Concerned about long distance riding after the upcoming back surgery I decided to buy a trailer just in case. Decided I didn’t really like it so I sold it and built my own. You don’t see too many 10’ trailers with a dovetail and tandem axles but that’s what I wanted. Ramp gate folds flat on the dovetail out of the wind. 4

That is a good turn out with over 75K in attendance. No riding for me over here in SE Pa. Mother Nature is giving us rain for the next 3 or 4 days. Still trying to decide what setup I want and might get to upgrade my headlights and passing lamps on my '07 RSV. This really sounds like a perfect winter project around Dec to Jan time frame.

N3FOL Posted September 24 Author #20 Posted September 24 Good Evening to All! Cloudy and off and on rain over here in York, Pa. No riding for me until Thursday.
N3FOL Posted September 25 Author #21 Posted September 25 Good Evening Venture riders. Rained all day, so I have a good excuse not to do anything outdoors. Enjoy the night. Praying for your safety to those that are in harms way of the impending Hurricane Helene landfall near Florida along the Gulf Coast.
N3FOL Posted September 26 Author #22 Posted September 26 Good Evening fellow riders! Weather continue to be unstable in SE Pa. Rain off and on. Hope you all have a relaxing night.
N3FOL Posted September 28 Author #23 Posted September 28 Good evening fellow Venture riders. I am already getting tired of all this rain. Have a nice weekend.
N3FOL Posted September 30 Author #24 Posted September 30 Good Evening fellow ventureriders. Hope you are having a great Monday evening.
N3FOL Posted October 2 Author #25 Posted October 2 Good Evening fellow Venturerider members and guest. Hopefully you are having a great Wednesday night.
