notsad2024 Posted August 26 Share #1 Posted August 26 Hi Coolant is leaking from the upper radiator hose where it connects to the ??? Not the connection on the radiator, but the other end. The part isn't named/numbered on the yamaha parts diagrams online. Anyway - how hard it is to replace this hose? I tightened the upper clamp, but it is still leaking. 2007 yamaha royal star venture. 98K miles. thanks
Marcarl Posted August 26 Share #2 Posted August 26 There are quite a few hoses attached in the area, thinking you'll have to be more specific in your description https://www.yamahasportsplaza.com/oemparts/a/yam/50045f89f8700209bc794e69/radiator-hose. notsad2024 Posted August 26 Author Share #3 Posted August 26 Number 22 - radiator hose need replacement as it is leaking from the top. I don't know the name of the part it connects to. It isn't referenced in the parts list. Tightened the clamp, but still leaking.
Marcarl Posted August 27 Share #4 Posted August 27 Now maybe somebody in the know can help out easier.
WIZ Posted August 27 Share #5 Posted August 27 While your in there replacing the hose you may want to go ahead and replace the o-rings that connect part numbers 19, 50 and 37 to that assembly. The o-rings usually start to leak when messing with any of the hoses connected to that assembly. Will most likely save you future headaches.
