So I like to run 94 in my bike, but here in the Cariboo the only company that carries the grade is Chevron and their stations are few and far between. So, I when I have to, use 91. Good? Bad? Indifferent?

87 is recommended by Yamaha. High octane fuel burns slower and builds carbon. I run alcohol free locally when the bike may set more, I can only get it in 90. On trips I stick to 87.

No reason to use anything but 87.   Higher octane is poorer grade and is only needed for high compression ratios to reduce preignition.
