rsvprojectguy Posted July 5 #1 Posted July 5 Hey y’all, I have an interesting problem with my 99 RSV. It appears the previous owner got into the wiring of the turn signals and made a complete mess of it. The wires look like the following: Wires coming from the bike: 2 blue 2 black 1 green 1 brown Wires coming from the signal lights: 2 skinny black 2 green 2 fat black After looking thoroughly at the wiring diagram in the manual, I thought I had the wires all squared away with the following solution: Skinny blacks to blues green to green green to brown Fat black to black Turn signals worked after the trial and error BUT my headlight went out. Turns out I blew the fuse in the process of figuring this out. I replaced the headlight fuse and now the signal lights stay on. The left turn signal flashes when I operate the switch but the right does not. Any ideas??? Thanks! MB
OrlinEngh Posted July 28 #2 Posted July 28 Seems to me that the blues need to go to the blues and blacks to blacks. Orlin
