IMC Headsets

I just purchased 2 sets of IMC headsets / mic. When I plug the passanger set in no problem the intercom and speakers sound great. The primary sat however, there is a squelch that would wake the dead. THe noise begins the instant I plug the cord in. I have tried all combinations of cords and headsets. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Before you plug the front in turn down the IC volume on the radio controller. there is a special selection to do this via the select button functionality. Not sure but it sounds like feedback. Also try turning down the back and plugging them in one at a time.

 

These are just guesses, but worth a try.
