Electrical gremlin

Hey all I have a 2000 millennium edition rsv and I seem to have an electrical gremlin. I replaced my stator and rec/reg last year and this season the bike seems to run at 12.5 volts for about an hour then it picks up to 13.2 and I can't seem to figure out what's going on any help or advice as to what to look at first would be much appreciated thanks in advance

Check the 3 wires coming from the stator to make sure they are all connected and clean. Then check the connection coming to and away from the R&R. If all is good, then start the bike, let it run for a minute, crank the rpms to 2000 and hold for 29 secs. Now you can check the voltage, first on the battery clamps and then the battery post themselves.
