Freebird Posted January 19 #1 Posted January 19 I know that many people install Harley touring mufflers on their bikes. This is just a heads up. for you. Many may already know this but the mufflers off the newer Harley bikes will NOT work on the RSV. My 2022 Road Glide Limited has the M8 114 motor. I started looking for a set for Vance and Hines Monster Rounds for it and learned that the older mufflers will not fit the M8 motor. The reason is that the M8 has different size inlets on the left vs. the right side. So, if you are looking to add the Harely mufflers to your bike, just know that the M8 mufflers will not fit. I think the M8 came out in 2016.

djh3 Posted January 22 #3 Posted January 22 Also I would have to look it up but, I think it was early 2000 they had the Cat in one of the sides of the FL mufflers also. Somewhere on here I had posted the "good" part numbers. I think the tech section. 1
vzuden Posted January 23 #4 Posted January 23 Yep. I too think it was the early 2000’s and it was the left muffler. After that period of time the cat was separate.
