2006 royal star venture buying

hello all,i just joined this group and hope to find some great info.i'm looking at buying a 2006 royal star venture with 39k miles on it. i am completely new to the venture line,i come from harley ultra's and a 88 goldwing. my plan is to take it with us in my toyhauler when we go on trips and don't want to load my polaris slingshot in it. what should i look for when checking the bike over. i can get it for $3500,is that a good deal? it looks completely stock from the pictures i've seen. its black and from the pictures i've found on the internet it looks just like the midnight venture.i'm not sure what the difference is though except from some studs on the seats

If it's running well, I'd say that is a good deal.

I sold my 04 venture with 150K miles on it in 2017 for $3500.00. So I would say its a good deal if its running well..
