The computer lights up but can’t adjust and have never heard it run

It doesn't do anything automatically. You have to have the key in the accessory position and tell the system to pump to a preset or manually set a pressure. Always work front tire first. If you see an error code, you likely need to re-solder the connector pins on the circuit board. It's a relatively easy job.
