Polariceman Posted October 9, 2023 #1 Posted October 9, 2023 I'm just finishing up bringing my 83 Venture back to life. When I engage the turn signal switch, the relay buzzes, both left and right directions. It buzzes for the emergency flasher switch too. Here's where it gets wierd. I took the relay out of its rubber holder. It works when I squeeze the sides. When I let go, it goes back to buzzing. I removed the outside of the relay box, but now it doesn't work at all. There must have been a crack in the circuit board that got bigger when I removed it. Has anyone heard of this before? Also, does anyone have a replacement relay for sale? Also, the serial number on the relay is FX257N, The other serial on it is 066599-1570. Will any FX257N relay work? I've seen several FX257N relays that have different serial numbers on them. Thanks in advance for any help you can give. The turn signals are the last thing it really needs, and I'll be ready for the highway.
Vickersguy Posted October 19, 2023 #2 Posted October 19, 2023 I'll go to my parts box tomorrow and see if I have one.
