hey all: know that this has been brought up before but have looked and searched can't seem to find model number of headset for 07 rsv any thoughts or info greatly apperciated.. and where can i get them the cheapest or at reasonable price. thanks Brian D.

There really is no specific model number for the Venture. There are MANY headsets out there that will work. Check out http://www.sierra_mc.com as they are great to deal with and have about as good of prices as you'll find anywhere. You can spend anywhere from $60.00 to well over $200.00. Which one is best depends upon how you use them. If primarily for communications, just go with the cheapest ones. If you really like your music, you need to do some more research. I've recently purchased and am so far sold on the Edsets and will be placing an order for a group purchase early next week. There is another thread on that. They will cost you closer to the $200.00 mark but if music sound quality is your main priority, I think they are the way to go.

this is what i bought , used one with my 5 pin j&m system on my lc, the hs-g45 at the bottom of page should do the job, this is a headset and mic to use with shorty helmets.

have used one for about 2 years.

 

just bought one to use on my new 2008 royal star venture.
