Fairing Removal

Does any one know of a video or clear instructions for the removal of the fairings. I know the plastic is old and brittle so any help/instructions would be of great help in hopefully not damaging in anymore than it already is.

you might check YouTube and see if you can find one. I am not aware of any others out there.  You can also check the service manual as I know that the 86-93 manual has a section on removal of the fairing with the order in what to remove and a diagram to help to show you the parts.

I am not sure if the 83-85 manual does but to be honest the fairing arent that different from each other.

Manuals are located in the Tech Library section of the forums and can be downloaded to you computer.
