Vickersguy Posted July 13, 2023 Share #1 Posted July 13, 2023 I'm reluctantly parting out a '86 Royal. I was going to restore it but I'm looking down 70 years old and I have a nice '83 . Trunk, bags and side covers seem in fair/good shape. Front end fairing is not as good, but parts of it are.. Has a class unit, TCI, CB, all those cruse control bits. Bike has 125k miles so the carbs need more than a casual cleaning. I'm running off with the coils and some other bits. The balance will go to the dump. Color is blue/black. I just started taking it apart. It might be a bit in the summer heat to get to a part but I will. Rust might be an issue. Shoot me a note for what you need. Shipping is from the east coast USA. R.h.abbott Posted August 26, 2023 Share #2 Posted August 26, 2023 I am in need of some fork parts. Do you still have the forks available? And maybe a rear brake master cyl
Vickersguy Posted August 26, 2023 Author Share #3 Posted August 26, 2023 The rear master cylinder is junk. Your profile indicates you have an '83. Very few 86 fork parts will fit on your '83.

Vickersguy Posted July 4 Author Share #8 Posted July 4 You have an 83. The 86 brake calipers are completely different. It won't fit your bike.
lmgk77 Posted July 6 Share #9 Posted July 6 The original owner "upgraded" the rear caliper to the '86, wanted the improvement due to pulling a Bushtec.
