Is any one going to the 2008 Star Days July 22-25. Tuesday thru Friday.

The location this year is Rogers/Bentonville, Arkansas.

The host hotel will be Embassy Suites in Rogers.

 

Diane and I will be there, We've never ridden the Ozark Mountains. Should be fun.

Anyone that is going coming from Michigan, Northern Illinois/Indiana/Ohio areas? Would love to ride with a group. My buddy that was going to go has to have knee surgery so he just backed out, and I do not REALLY want to ride down there alone - that would just make the wifey worry unnecessarily. you don't have to be a member to go.it costs $49.00 per person to register,but you don't even have to do that unlees you want to go to the banquet and get t-shirts. getting a motel will be the hard part. bill

We have reservations at the Comfort Suites in Bentonville too. We'll be in on Friday the 25th and will be staying through the weekend. Going to Stardays on Friday and riding around the area the rest of the weekend is our gameplan now. A meet n eat on Friday would work for us.

If you are going to Star Days, that is a great area to ride in and you will have a great time, just don`t expect to see allot of vendors at the rally.

I will going that way on Thurs. it about 1 hour from the house nice ride. Where is this centered at and where are the vender's going to set up? Hay Bill if you are talking about the spring meet or this, you sure would be missed at the springs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I found out today that a buddy of mine who previously was not going, has decided to go! So now there are two of us. We are leaving first thing Monday morning 7/22/08. Anyone care to join us, or can we meet up with anyone? We have two options - driving down through Indy or head over through IL and then head south. Speak up if you are interested, the more the merrier!

Is there a list of vendors somewhere?

 

If you're going for the vendors, you'll be disappointed. They never had too many to begin with, but the last few years have seen less than 15 or so. Barons usually is there and a wonderful pin striper, Sue Hopper, but Star Days is not about the vendors.

We were able to get a room at the host hotel, Embassy suites, and they still honored the discounted rate. Normal rate is $218/night plus taxes, Star rate $109/night!

 

We will be leaving form Northern, IN Monday morning between 6-8AM, staying just outside of St. Louis, arriving sometime in AR Tuesday before noon. We are staying until Thursday or Friday and then heading home.

Can't make Star Days 2008.

 

Rear shock went out, Ordered a new one today from Shock Works. $649.

We cancel the Hotel with a full refund. But Debbie from Star would not refund anything. I explained to her that the bike was down and the shock would not be here for three weeks or maybe longer. There is nothing I can do. The bike is down. I called as soon as I ordered the shock. She more less said that I was out of luck! To bad, Will all I can say is, that's bad business.
