Skid Posted June 3, 2008 #1 Posted June 3, 2008 Who will be traveling through West Virginia going to Don's Maintenance Day? I still don't know if I can get away yet, but I am trying. Just wondering who and when will someone going through on either I-77 or I-79..... I may jump in line and try to follow along.

After I pick up my new pipes from RoadWarrior near Charlotte in the afternoon, I'll just head north a while looking for a place to pitch my tent for the night or a cheap motel room. I may make it to the Virginia border, but don't really know for sure. I can give people a call Thursday afternoon to try and coordinate a meeting place and time. Or you can call me. I see that although there was mention in another thread about several folks riding up from NC and Virginia, we don't have any responses here. Dang, would have been great to meet up with you going I77 route. I77 becomes a toll road in West Virginia. I guess not enough people stop at DQ to pay taxes. :rotf:

Now if you happen to be comming Virginia and want to meet up give me a shout any time day or night. We will be leaving Va around 9-10an on friday

What I got to say about toll roads can not be printed in a family site, so I'll just say that out west we HANG people for suggesting a toll road - damn commie plot! Anyway, I am in Beckley, WV tonight. Did 900 miles yesterday, and close to 600 today. That should make an easy ride in tomorrow morning. See y'all there, Goose
