Eric Allinger Posted July 4, 2023 #1 Posted July 4, 2023 Eric Allinger Gettysburg PA New member here. I apologize if I am using the wrong etiquette, or format or whatever. The main reason I joined was that I have a 1996 Royal Star and could use some advice. Bought it new with no bags, or windshield. Installed a shield a decade ago. Have been using a cheap, 35 year old pair of throw over bags that I actually bought for my 1972 Moto Guzzi Eldorado. I do have royal star brackets to hold the bags away from rear wheel. Those bags are small and shot and I need more storage. Does anyone have any advice or experience with throw over bags or modifying aftermarket hard saddle bags for a '96? Headed to Prince Edward Island if the smoke does not chases away, and would like to have more storage for the unpredictable Canadian weather. (Nova Scotia was a fantastic ride a few years back but I was under-prepared for the swings in weather.) Thanks for any ideas and/or effort.
