I did a search but didn't find anything, so here goes... Has anyone done a wrap on their bike instead of painting it (or re-painting it)??

After my sudden stop in a ditch, I have a small break on my fairing to repair,  Once the cracks are fixed, sanding and painting would be next - or is it?  I am considering a wrap and was wondering if any one here has taken that step?  Please -share some pics and your experiece with it if you have.

I know a couple people who have wrapped the air cleaner covers on the Gen 2s. I've not heard of anyone wraping the fairings but, I don't see any reason why it would not be doable.

This was a wrapped fairing that was on my trike when I bought it. One thing to keep in mind are any imperfections on the surface will come through the wrapped surface. Surface prep is just as important with a wrap as it is with paint

It’s very doable but as mentioned before the prep is important.  I wrapped my trailer myself after watching some YouTube videos. As with any trade work the pros made it look easy on the videos. I got the vinyl from Amazon. It looks pretty good for a beginner but I’d be unhappy if I’d paid for it, there are a few small wrinkles and blemishes. 1135F5F5-B795-4B90-874A-E92D0366CF1D.thumb.jpeg.6f2474509fb4055608bf17d74cad092a.jpeg
